  2. OK… nice stuff only one problem with the line: “In the spirit of visionary thinking that marked the birth of America…” Do they mean the genocide of the native population?

The Menokin Foundation is committed to telling the stories of all the people and cultures that have inhabited the site, including the indigenous Rappahannock tribe that gave the property its name. We have a good relationship with the tribe, including Chief Ann Richardson, and are working with them to ensure that we interpret their story properly and respectfully.
